When we think 'Late 60s Strat', it's hard to imagine anyone else but Jimi Hendrix. The Large headstock, maple neck... a total CBS era vibe that has become almost as iconic as some of its early 60s predecessors.
This used Custom Shop '69 Stratocaster NOS from 2018 boasts a lot of those familiar specs that made the originals so special. The NOS finish best represents what this guitar would've looked like coming out of the Fender factory some 50 years ago, albeit with some time spent tucked away for years that would simulate more of that "attic find" aesthetic. The '69 Stratocaster pickups have a bold, snappy tone with great response and authority, and can easily take you from funk, soul, and R&B to rock, blues, and Axis-era psychedelic fuzz with ease.
Condition: Very good. The guitar has been played and enjoyed, and shows signs of light to moderate play wear throughout. The body shows signs of lacquer shrinkage and slight checking. The previous owner replaced the original F stamped tuners with Gotoh locking staggered tuning machines, however, the originals are included in the case. Very minor fret wear. Neck is very clean and playability is great. Just recently set up in-house and ready to go!
Priced includes original hardshell case, COA, and case candy.
