The Fender Custom Shop has been making consistently great guitars for years now. Rest assured, this heavy relic '52 Telecaster is one of them.

You know the kind of guitar we’re talking about – the one that just oozes vibe before you’ve even picked it up. Maybe it’s the look, the pickups, the neck – whatever it is, you know it when you see it.
For our money, this 1952 Custom Shop Telecaster in (heavy) Relic'd Daphne Blue with a tortoise guard and a Duncan humbucker in the neck has that vibe. It looks the part, and we’re happy to report it doesn’t disappoint once you sit down to play it.
The '65 Strat C neck profile (.82-.974") feels amazing, with a beautifully worn back that immediately connects you to the guitar. Paired with a 9 1/2" radius and medium jumbo frets, the playability is top-notch. The action is set low, perfect for most any player (if you’re a heavy-handed player, we’d be happy to tweak it to your liking).
Plugged into our demo station (featuring a Carr Sportsman), the bridge pickup delivers snappy, twangy perfection, while the Seymour Duncan neck humbucker sings with a gorgeous, round tone. Whether you’re into jazz, channeling your inner Stones, or just love a great Tele that covers a range of styles, this guitar has you covered.
