Luthier Jackson Cunningham has a well-earned reputation for making some of the finest, hand-built interpretations of the classic Gibson acoustic guitars. Case in point: this lightly played Nick Lucas. Although it's a pre-owned guitar, with a very thin finish, this instrument remains in excellent condition, with no significant cosmetic wear to report. The sound is crisp, woody, and bold -- plenty of volume whether you favor a flatpick or fingers. This guitar will appeal directly to players well versed in ragtime and Travis-style playing, but its well broken-in sound makes it versatile enough to be loved by pretty much anyone. Priced with its original hard case.
