Why We Love This

A Collings OM1 with a German Spruce top used to be a regular entrant in the TME stable. We haven't stocked one in a while, and scratched our collective heads for a few minutes after uncasing this one. How could we have forgotten how incredible this model sounds? Upgraded with a pyramid bridge, it's lightweight enough to hang with a "Traditional" model ~ yet the sound retains the pinpoint clarity of the "Standard" lineup. This would be a fantastic choice for any fingerstyle guitar player in search of a detailed, articulate instrument that responds to a light touch and doesn't sacrifice depth of tone.
