Description

The Collings MT2 Varnish has a huge, open sound, with remarkable depth and complexity (much like the effect we hear varnish producing in a mahogany dreadnought guitar). Their best figured Maple - paired with a Red Spruce top - produces an A-style mandolin to make the F models cower in a corner at a bluegrass jam. Lustrous dark sunburst finish enhances the extremely classy Collings aesthetic and gives the mandolin a decades-old look right out of the case.
