The D1 Traditional from Collings Guitars is as exceptional-sounding an example of a mahogany dreadnought as you'll find anywhere in the guitar-o-sphere. Bell-like clarity and punch, with an extremely warm and focused low end. Prized by flatpickers around the country--and the world--there isn't a finer all-purpose guitar in the shop. This gently used D1 Traditional features a torrefied Sitka Spruce top and "Vintage Satin" finish on what's otherwise a standard version of the model.

This guitar remains in very good pre-owned condition. There's a small amount of pick wear on the pickguard itself, extending to the soundboard near the treble side of the bridge. A small area of the top between the pickguard and bridge has glossed up where the previous owner rested their strumming hand. There's a tiny ding on the back of the neck, which has also glossed up a bit from its original satin texture. A strap button and K&K Pure Mini pickup have been added. Priced with its original hardshell case.
