This 2011 Collings 290 DC S just came in on consignment, and it's a stellar example of Collings' own take on the famous doublecut Jr.!

When it comes to electric guitars, it's really hard to beat a great mahogany bodied guitar with P90s. A classic combo that is surprisingly versatile - a case of "looks can be deceiving" for the uninitiated.

Collings has undoubtedly mastered this formula with their 290 model - comfortable ergonomics, light overall weight, a perfect 50s neck carve (think 59 LP), killer Lollar P90, and of course, being a Collings, flawless build quality and playability.

These are incredibly resonant, lively guitars that feel like a slightly refined, higher quality version of the original Les Paul Juniors.

This 290 is in great overall shape with some light picking scuffs on the pickguard and top, and a few small dings and scuffs on the body. Frets are in great shape.

Includes original hardshell case. The case interior shows some staining in the lower bout area but there's no evidence of having transferred to the guitar.
