Fresh in from Laurent Brondel is this incredible Honeycaster SC "Nashville", the ever-popular take on a session-friendly electric that combines elements of strat and tele into one instrument.
Built in the style of a late 50's Telecaster, this Honeycaster SC "Nashville" takes the traditional tele format and expands it to include a middle pickup - in this case a Stratocaster-style pickup - that offers up a lot of the classic in-between strat tones alongside classic tele tones. The result is a highly versatile take on an otherwise straightforward design, retaining the essence of the great 50s electric and expanding the tonal palette to make it a formidable studio or stage guitar.
Like all other Brondel builds, playability on this Honeycaster is exceptional. Laurent's fretwork is fantastic, and the Soft V neck profile has a great feel and taper. The Ron Ellis pickup combinations cover tons of tonal ground, touching on elements of 50s and 60s sounds alike to offer up unique and inspiring sounds.
Brondel's builds are easily on par with Masterbuilt Fenders, and have quickly become some of our favorite electrics we carry.
