This Bourgeois Soloist is from our favorite period in the builder's existence: the guitars produced in Lewiston in the early to mid aughts are great-sounding, with exceptional responsiveness and depth of sound. This instrument, handsomely upgraded with rosewood binding and bone bridge pins, is exceptional in every way, offering a gorgeous, broken-in voice, replete with overtones and silkiness. Its response is quick, thanks to its pyramid bridge, but its headroom is more than adequate for a flatpicker's approach. A current shop favorite!

We rate this guitar's overall condition "very good," and that's erring on the side of being a bit conservative. There may be a few minor signs of handling present, but the guitar is free from significant cosmetic blemishes of any kind. The finish still shines like new, and our shop has given it a fresh setup. Priced includes hardshell case.
