This Blazer & Henkes 12-fret 000 comes to us from its original owner; and we're sure many people would mistake it for a new guitar even though it's 18 years old. It makes us recall, with great fondness, the time when we were Blazer & Henkes retailers. Amongst contemporary luthiers working in the pre-war American style, these fastidious Germans cultivated a well-earned reputation for greatness (one which we'd proudly endorse). This style-41 beauty speaks to their fastidiousness and expert-level craftsmanship, boasting gorgeous woodworking and pearl inlay alongside stunning material choices. The sound is supremely beautiful, exhibiting the woody power of a 1930's Martin coupled with the modern richness and sustain typically imparted by a European Spruce soundboard ~ it's a great-sounding guitar, which invites hours upon hours of tonal discoveries.
Condition: in a word, excellent. This instrument has been meticulously cared-for and humidified, and shows barely a hint of playwear. The finish shines like new, and it's been freshly setup in our shop. Priced with tweed hardshell case. On consignment; shipping calculated at checkout.
