We love John Suhr's guitars and love what he's done with the Classic S model. If you're new to Suhr guitars, you can expect flawless build quality, some of the best fret work in the industry, super comfy neck carves, effortless playability, and an overall more modern approach to the classic Strat.

What can't be overstated is just how comfortable this guitar is to play. Deluxe, luxurious, effortless...all are terms that come to mind when sitting down for a session with it. The slightly tinted maple neck - coupled with its satin finish, "Even C medium" neck carve (.84"-.92"), and stainless frets - is a highlight on this guitar. Simply put, guitars don't get more comfortable, or easy, to play.

When played acoustically, this Classic S has a solid, snappy feel to it. The stainless frets certainly add a bit to the top-end snap and sleek feel, but we noticed no difference in tone when plugged in. Speaking of which, into our Carr Skylark, we were able to coax a wide range of modern, beautifully compressed Strat tones that work great either clean or overdriven.

Condition: Near mint/Like new. We had saying mint on a used guitar, but this is as close as a used guitar gets to being mint.
