“…there’s a reason everyone in the guitar world calls Fender Custom Shop ‘The Dream Factory.’ We create guitars players never thought were possible.”
~ Fender Custom Shop
Fender calls it a Showcase Dealer. We just call it doing what we love.
As a Showcase-level Fender Custom Shop dealer, we’re part of a small, trusted group of shops chosen by Fender to offer a deeper selection of Custom Shop instruments, including limited runs, exclusive builds, and the kind of guitars that rarely hang around for long. We work closely with the Custom Shop team to bring in guitars that hit all the right notes: beautifully built, collector-worthy, and ready to play right out of the case.
Our Fender Custom Shop collection features guitars we’ve hand-picked for their tone, feel, and vintage-inspired vibe - from lightly relic’d Stratocasters and NOS Teles to one-off Masterbuilt creations.
Every piece is photographed in-house and listed individually, so what you see is exactly what you’ll get.
Got questions? Need help choosing?
No matter if it’s your first Custom Shop guitar or the latest addition to a growing stable, we’re here to help you find the one.
Team Built
Custom Shop quality, built by a small team of expert luthiers. Team Built guitars offer vintage feel, tone, and looks - without the Masterbuilt price tag. These are serious instruments for serious players.
Masterbuilt
Built start to finish by a single master builder, Masterbuilt guitars are the pinnacle of the Fender Custom Shop. Think museum-worthy tone, attention to detail, and collector-level vibe - guitars that feel alive from the first chord.
Limited Editions
Limited Runs are small-batch Custom Shop builds that are only available for a limited period of time. You’ll see rare finishes, custom specs, and short production windows. Once they’re gone, they’re gone.
Signature Models
Built to the exact specs of Fender’s most iconic artists, Signature Models are a direct line to the tone and feel of your guitar heroes. If you’re into players like Jack White, Michael Landau, or J Mascis (to name a few), these guitars are made to play like the originals.

Fender Custom Shop FAQ
Common questions about Fender Custom Shop guitars - what they are, what makes them different, and how to choose.
What is a Fender Custom Shop guitar?
A Fender Custom Shop guitar is built by Fender's elite team of luthiers, separate from Fender's main production lines.
Custom Shop instruments offer higher-grade materials, refined attention to detail, and period-accurate vintage features - including relic finishes that recreate decades of natural wear.
What is the difference between Custom Shop and a standard Fender?
Standard Fenders are made on Fender's main production lines and deliver classic tone at an accessible price.
Custom Shop instruments are built in a smaller, specialized workshop with hand-selected woods, more meticulous fretwork and finishing, and collector-level detail, at a higher price point.
What do relic, journeyman, and closet classic mean?
These describe the level of aging applied to a Custom Shop finish.
Closet Classic is lightly aged, as if carefully stored for decades. Journeyman Relic shows moderate, played-in wear. Heavy Relic recreates extensive, road-worn aging.
All are done by hand in the Custom Shop.
What is the difference between Team Built and Masterbuilt?
Team Built Custom Shop guitars are crafted by a small group of expert luthiers working together.
Masterbuilt guitars are built start to finish by a single master builder. Both come from the Custom Shop; Masterbuilt represents its highest tier.
How much does a Fender Custom Shop guitar cost?
Custom Shop guitars generally run from the mid-four figures upward, with Masterbuilt models and rare limited runs priced higher. Final pricing depends on the model, specification, builder, and whether the instrument is new or preowned.
