It's always a treat to have one of luthier Frankie Montuoro's guitars in the shop -- those who follow the boutique flattop market know that these instruments are as rare as they are glorified. This 2014 Advanced Jumbo features Larson-style construction and trim (Frankie's "Style 8" appointment level). It's built under tension, in the Larson Style, with Brazilian Rosewood back & sides and a red spruce top (bracing is not laminated). This is a big, meaty sounding guitar that excels when strummed aggressively, but the extra top arch gives it a really punchy response for fingerstyle playing as well. Overall condition is very good - it's been babied by its previous owner but exhibits some minor finish crazing (the finish on this guitar is paper-thin). LR Baggs Lyric pickup installed. Priced with contemporary hard case!
