An interesting twist on the Kamaka tenor uke, the HF-3 variety offers a different voice for the player looking to expand the boundaries of their uke playing.
Typically the C and A strings are doubled, and in this case they are both strung in octaves, with the A strings in reverse order of the C strings, creating a new sonic landscape.
Not quite uke, not quite guitar, not quite 12 string or mandolin - this is one for anybody's collection. The design follows traditional Kamaka construction and appearance. All koa body and headstock overlay, rosewood finger board and bridge, open back tuners with pearloid tuning buttons. Priced with hard case.
