Product information

One of the finest, most sonically pleasing modern F-style mandolins available today. If you like a big, wide-open bass and rich, smooth high end, your Pegasus awaits.

Girouard's G5 Concert features top-shelf materials and appointments, in a modern, understated aesthetic. At first blush, there are hints of a Monteleone influence, particularly in the open scroll, quite a lovely, refreshingly contemporary look. Sonically, this mandolin packs a serious punch. The low end is big and expansive, the highs quite silken.

Coupled with Max's impeccable setup work, the result is a fabulously fun and deeply satisfying playing experience. We don't often see these G5 mandolins in from Max, so it is always exciting when we do see one. One quick strum and you'll understand why they cause a stir.
