Product information

This Gibson 1942 Banner J-45 has just come into the shop on trade! The guitar features Gibson's Murphy Lab "Light Aged" finish ~ all the lacquer checking and wear you see in our photos are factory-original byproducts of the manufacturing process. Thanks to its torrefied Red Spruce top, this guitar produces plenty of volume and dry, woody snap. It's an incredible value when compared to a 70 year old J-45!

We rate this guitar in very good overall condition. It's been played, and shows normal signs of usage -- though you'll need luck to discern that wear from the scrapes applied by the manufacturer. Our shop has inspected the instrument and given it a fresh setup. Priced with its original hard case.
