Of all the J-185 copies out there in the world, the Collings SJ is till, to our ears, the finest sounding of the bunch. This used SJ from 2011 is an outstanding example both in condition and tone. It's not an easy task to build a maple guitar that has fullness, texture and musicality, but Collings has the know-how. The Adirondack spruce top is an awesome upgrade. This guitar has the warmth of mahogany, the fullness of rosewood but with punch, clarity and that very familiar, vintage-inspired chime, all wrapped up in an elegant sunburst finish.

Condition on this one is excellent with very little in the way of wear to point out. Set-up is dialed in at standard action with saddle height available to adjust down if required.
