Just in on trade -- this huge-sounding Collings DS1A featuring a torrefied top! Torrefied Adirondack Spruce in no longer an option from Collings Guitars, making this guitar an irreplaceable (if somewhat niche) instrument. Twelve-fret dreadnoughts are known for their massive, cavernous sound; and this guitar is no exception to the rule. The torrefied top, however, provides a bit of extra warmth and a rounded note quality we haven't heard in other DS1A models. If you're in the market for such a guitar, grab this one while it's still here!
Condition: this guitar was its previous owner's daily player, and shows a few noticeable top dings (please see photos). There are also several very minor top dings along the treble side, lower bout, which are very hard to photograph. Other than that, this guitar is clean; and it's been freshly setup in our shop. Priced with its original Collings-branded TKL hardshell case. Give us a call if you'd like an in-hand description!
