This 1970 Martin D-41 definitely belongs to "The Player's Club!" The guitar has been played hard, and gigged enthusiastically, which likely accounts for its super-pleasing, open & boomy sound. The top of the guitar was stripped and refinished long ago. There is significant lacquer checking and finish wear (please see our photos). An old center seam separation was glued and repaired long ago. The back of the headstock shows screw holes from a previously installed set of tuners. Our shop has just performed a bridge reglue and fret file; and the guitar plays smoothly under tension of light gauge strings. Priced with 1970's thermoplastic Martin case.
