Gibson L-10 (1933)

Gibson introduce the L-10 in 1932, in order to be able to offer a cost-effective alternative to the L-5, their most prestigious player's archtop guitar. Known for its sleek all-black finish, the L-10 also sports a Mahogany neck -- but is otherwise identical to an L-5 in dimension and playability. This particular guitar has been with its current owner for many decades; and it's been used as his main gigging instrument. The original pickguard has been replaced, and the finish has been oversprayed, but this guitar still looks great (we consider it quite the eye-catcher in the current showroom lineup). Our shop has freshened the setup, and it's playing smoothly & sounding great! Priced with 1940's hard case ~ the only one it's ever had ~ which does have a broken handle. A great choice for any player interested in an acoustic archtop!
