The Walrus Audio Polychrome is a true bypass analog flanger that moves seamlessly from classic flange to pitch vibrato - with more tonal color than its simple control set lets on.

The Walrus Audio Polychrome is a true bypass analog flanger with more tonal range than its straightforward control set suggests. The D-F-V blend knob moves continuously from full dry through traditional flange to full pitch vibrato - a range that rewards exploration well beyond the obvious flange territory. A Shape switch selects between sine, triangle, or random LFO waveforms, and a Voice switch toggles between a full-frequency traditional flange and a more complex, notched effect with reduced low end. Rate, Depth, Feedback, and the D-F-V knob cover the rest.

Worth noting: with the D-F-V at maximum, feedback dialed back, and the Voice switch up, the Polychrome produces some genuinely distinctive pitch vibrato sounds that are easy to overlook if you're only chasing classic flange tones. Top-mounted jacks and soft-switch relay bypassing keep it pedalboard-friendly for the long haul.
