This highly limited Collings Custom Craft Series guitar is a one-of-a-kind D1 that's an absolute stunner.

Newly released as part of Collings Custom Craft series, we couldn't resist the opportunity to bring this stunning one-of-a-kind D1 to TME! Collings Custom Craft guitars are strictly limited models never to be repeated again. This series features new tonewood combinations and design elements that offer unique and creative spins on Collings's classics.

Enter this Cedar Top and Figured Sapele Back & Sides D1. We don't see many Cedar topped acoustic guitars from Collings these days, but whenever we have the chance to play one we're reminded of just how good this tonewood can sound when done right. This is a surprisingly powerful and dynamic Dread, while also being a bit warmer and nuanced than an equivalent Spruce topped model.

Players looking for a big guitar that will be responsive to a medium/light attack, or those simply in search for a warmer Dread sound, will be richly rewarded. The Figured Sapele Back & Sides are similar in sonic to character to Mahogany. That said, look at how beautiful this wood is! We've seen a lot Sapele over the years and few sets as striking as this one.

This is a welcome spin on a world-class Collings model. Pick it up while still it's available as it will never be repeated again, and cannot be custom ordered. We can hardly wait to see what Collings cooks up next in its Willy Wonka-esque Custom Craft series.
