This particular OM37 has a very attractive darkness about its voice, which makes playing it with a heavy flatpick a real treat.

The "37" Series is Atkin's take on the revered style-28 flattops of the Golden Era. The OM is a clear nod to the classic fingerstyle Orchestra Models introduced in the 1930's and revered by instrumentalists for decades.

With a slightly longer scale length than his Essential 000 and rosewood back and sides, the OM-37 offers a rich, textured tone with plenty of balance as well as a nice growl in the low end. Think Martin OM-28 meets Collings OM2H and you get the picture! This particular OM37 has a very attractive darkness about its voice, which makes playing it with a heavy flatpick a real treat (there's no overt "brigthness" on hand, yet still plenty of clarity).

Vibe. Tone. Playability. If you want it all, produced with the expertise of a boutique-level workshop, we suggest giving an Atkin serious consideration. Priced with the builder's own hard case, made by TKL.
