The first 12-String model to be released as part of Taylor's Next Generation series.

Newly redesigned for 2026, the Taylor 454CE Next Generation 12-String adds Scalloped V-Class bracing, a completely redesigned pickup, and the Action Control Neck to their flagship model.

The combination of Sitka spruce and rosewood works perfectly in this 12-String iteration of Taylor's popular 400 series Grand Auditorium model. You get warm, supportive lows, clear highs, and all the power and chime you expect from a great 12-String.

Additionally, Taylor's 12-String guitars are among the most eminently playable on the market. There simply aren't many 12-String guitars out there that are easy/fun to play. This 454CE 12-String, along with Taylor's other 12-String models, are the exception to that rule and can comfortably be played for hours.

The brand new Taylor designed Claria pickup relocates the controls to just inside the sound hole. The pickup sounds great and its low profile aesthetic is elegant and easy to use. The Action Control Neck allows for easy adjustment of the neck angle that allows for simple, easily performed, adjustments. The 454CE 12-String is a welcome addition to Taylor expanding Next Generations series.
