Product information

The MT2-O has rightly earned it's reputation as a reliable, powerhouse oval-hole mandolin, and opening the case on this new arrival from Collings we're immediately reminded why!

The Collings MT2-O is a fully appointed oval hole A-model with a high-gloss lacquer finish and fully bound body, neck and peghead. Drawing on the classic Gibsons from the 1910s, the MT2-O features a slightly wider, 1 3/16" nut width, but retains the elevated fingerboard and scale length of a modern mandolin. The result is a powerful, open and clear sounding instrument, with a prominent low end and strong sustain. Perfect for celtic, old-time, classical and jazz styles! Priced with TKL hard case.
