Product information

The quintessential Celtic bouzouki, with ample warmth, excellent sustain when you want it, and that particular midrange cut that excels in a live mix.

One of the true innovators in the history of the modern mandolin, Stefan Sobell's name has become synonymous with the Irish bouzouki. Along with his other mandolin-family instruments, and subsequently, his guitars, the Sobell sound is baked into the tonal fabric of Irish folk and neotraditonal music, as well as contemporary Irish and British Isles fingerstyle guitar.

Whether tuned to the standard, straight-fifths GDAE or the commonly used, modal GDAD tuning, this instrument offers a snappy, quick response, and an uncanny mix of warmth and rasp when you want it.
