Any hype you've heard about the Santa Cruz OM Grand is likely true: it's a powerful-sounding, versatile guitar, capable of defeating nearly anything that goes up against it in a shootout. While it won't supplant a dreadnought, it's a perfect choice for a strummer who isn't comfortable with a dreadnought's depth (the OM Grand retains plenty of power under a heavy attack, and the low end is arguably more focused than a Jumbo or D-sized guitar). This particular guitar was built with the house-favorite combination of Indian rosewood and European "Moon" Spruce ~ so-named for the special lunar cycle during which it's harvested. The sound is rich, sparkling, and full, all while retaining the darker fundamental of a great rosewood guitar. The subtle-yet-handsome appointments hint at the graceful sound lurking within this beast while keeping the look classy and understated. Priced with Ameritage hardshell case.
