Description
Here's a first for High Spirit...and a first for us...
Check out this Flamingo Hawk with an Aged Burgundy Mist and anodized gold guard!
The Flamingo Hawk shares its lineage from the short-scale Hagstrom I, among other European and Japanese import guitars from the 50s and 60s, but with an elevated build quality and materials that parallel some of our favorite Fender bolt-neck electrics.
The slim carve C neck - one of three carves offered by High Spirit - is reminiscent of some of our favorite early and mid 60s Fullerton offsets. Comfortable and quick with a nice taper, but not too small.
Pickups are Connor's own "Hot Dog" wind that aim for a more authoritative P90 sound with great punch. Clean tones are still nice and clear with the right touch of natural compression, while overdriven tones get you into a more familiar Gibson territory.
If you want the familiarity of a strat-like silhouette with something distinctively unique at the same time, look no further. We continue to be amazed at how much guitar is packed into these instruments, and they just get better and better as time goes on.
Priced with gig bag.
