Description
New D2 from luthier Matthew Arcara -- made with a particularly stunning set of Cocobolo back and sides!
Cocobolo guitars tend to demonstrate heft, and push a lot of low end--no exception to those rules here. It's surprisingly balanced, and cranks in the midrange as well, topped off with glassy trebles that'd make it jump right out in a flatpicking context.
This is the first Cocobolo dreadnought we've ordered from Matt, and we wouldn't hesitate to rebuild it (provided there's more wood this pretty to be found in the stacks!).
If you're looking for a luthier-grade bluegrass guitar, here it is! Priced with TKL hard case.
