Brondel A-2 Brazilian Rosewood & German Spruce

This is the first new A-2 we've had from luthier Laurent Brondel in several years -- and the first ever in Brazilian Rosewood. You're probably anticipating the now-cliched description of how amazing this guitar's sound is; but some things bear repeating. This instrument is a poster child for the magical Brazilian Rosewood sound ~ lush, clear, woody, and perfectly balanced all at once. It's very powerful and responsive, with more than enough headroom to project fiercely under a flatpick; and the 25.6" scale allows for beautifully present tones when the guitar is tuned down. There isn't a guitar in the shop we can recommend over this one for players interested in branching out from underneath the awning of the uber-traditionally styled OM. Priced with Hiscox hard case.
