A touring musician's dream spec on one of the finest offset designs being made today - this Healy Healer does it all.

The Healy Healer is one of the classiest offset designs in modern electric lutherie, and this particular example was built with a very specific brief in mind. A local touring musician and friend of the shop came to Trevor Healy with a clear vision: one guitar capable of handling everything. The result is a Healer configured for maximum versatility without compromise - and we'd expect no less from Trevor.

The foundation of this example is a roasted Northern Pine body, specified here in a slightly smaller size that sits effortlessly and keeps the overall weight well below seven pounds. The aesthetic is immediately striking as well - a deep plum metallic finish on the top and back, with the sides left natural, paird with a roasted Flame Maple neck, the amber figuring shifting between soft and intense depending on the light. Understated and refined in equal measure.

The pickup and hardware configuration is where this build gets interesting. A pair of Lollar Imperial humbuckers handle the full range of electric tones with authority, while a Fishman Power Bridge opens up convincing acoustic-leaning sounds without reaching for a second instrument - a genuinely useful tool for a working touring musician. A Bigsby tremolo rounds out the package, adding expressive range while maintaining the clean, considered aesthetic that defines Healy's work.

Play one of these back to back with instruments at twice the price and the conversation gets very short, very quickly. Trevor Healy builds at a level that speaks for itself.
