Channeling late '80s studio vibes, with the fit, finish, and fretwork Grosh is legendary for.

A lot of us here at The Music Emporium are unapologetically Gen Xers. Of course we love Hendrix, Clapton, and Page, but we also grew up with Vai, EVH, Corgan, Cobain, and the rest. As we got older, we started discovering the studio greats — which is where the inspiration for this particular Grosh NOS Retro came from (think: Lukather).

Per usual, Don Grosh and his small CO-based team took our idea and ran with it, delivering yet another perfect guitar.

"Perfect? Come on guy, nothing is perfect!"

True, my friend - but - we dare you to find fault with a Grosh instrument. Perfect finish work, fit, setup, and of course, fretwork (something Don is legendary for). These guitars could not be easier to play. Deluxe, luxurious, silky, fast - all adjectives we'd use to describe playing one of these guitars.

Plugged in? Phenomenal. Some of the most balanced, perfectly EQ'd Strat tones you're likely to encounter: bell-like cluck and chime in positions 2 and 4, Tele-like twang and muscle in the bridge, beautifully scooped mids on the neck pickup. Add to this a master volume, master tone, and blend control - the latter of which opens up combinations a 5-way alone can't reach, like bridge/neck only or all three pickups on at once.

Really inspiring stuff, with all the late '80s session player vibe you could want.
