Product information

A featherweight Grosh Thinline that blends classic Tele snap with airy semi-hollow depth, effortless playability, and serious tonal range.

Like most guitar players, we’ll always have a soft spot for Telecasters. It’s a design that just works and has since the early 1950s. They're simple, honest, and endlessly musical. As much as we love a great solid-body Tele, there’s something especially compelling about a Thinline.

The semi-hollow construction brings a lightness and air that changes the feel in all the right ways (for our ears / hands). Notes have a slightly quicker, punchier attack, with a touch more girth behind them. Since Teles naturally lean bright, we welcome the subtly rounded top-end and fuller mids and lows that a Thinline delivers. It’s still unmistakably a Tele, just with a bit more depth and bloom.

When that formula is in the hands of Don Grosh and his Colorado-based crew, the results are spectacular.

At just 6 lbs. 2 oz., this one is almost shocking when you first pick it up - featherweight, perfectly balanced, and free of any headstock dive. The beautifully figured ash body, Don’s new Timeworn aged finish, a comfortably dialed-in neck carve, impeccable fretwork, and his in-house wound pickups all come together seamlessly.

The single-coil / humbucker (splittable via the push-pull tone control) pairing offers impressive range: clear, open snap when you need it, with added warmth and muscle on tap. It’s versatile without losing its identity.

Effortless to play. Dynamic and alive. The kind of guitar that makes you look up and realize you’ve been playing for an hour.

If we’re being honest? It’s about as close to perfect as a Thinline gets.
