A 2022 Collings SoCo Deluxe with a '60s neck profile and ThroBak pickups - carved solid wood construction, ivoroid appointments throughout, and the kind of tonal range that rewards every style of playing.

To many in the guitar community, the Collings SoCo Deluxe represents the pinnacle of what a semi-hollow guitar can be - and this 2022 example is a particularly compelling one. Where the standard SoCo is already a serious instrument, the Deluxe takes everything a step further: ivoroid fingerboard and peghead binding, custom ivoroid knobs and pickup rings, and hand-carved solid wood construction that reflects Collings' exacting standards at every level.

The 15" lower bout keeps the guitar lightweight and balanced, while the carved solid maple top contributes an articulate, complex tone that rewards attentive playing. The ergonomic neck heel and long neck tenon make upper fret access genuinely effortless, and sustain rings evenly across the entire range.

Collings' '60s neck profile is the slimmer, faster-feeling alternative to their standard medium-fat C shape - and for players with a preference for vintage Gibson territory, it's an immediately familiar friend. Carved after early 1960s Gibson neck dimensions, it runs slightly thinner at both the first and ninth frets, producing that comfortable, broken-in feel.
