Product information

This 2016 Collings D1A features some striking upgrades: torrefied Adirondack top, Koa binding, and the seemingly unobtainable Collings-made vintage-style hardshell case. It's been played quite a lot over these last seven years, and sounds absolutely huge. This is a particularly woody-sounding D1A; so if you're a fan of the Standard-series Collings punch, but you're in search of a warm-sounding version of it, this may be the guitar for you.

Condition: overall, we'd rate it "very good." There is some noticeable pick wear on the top (again, it's been played), and the Collings case is well-traveled with some analogous wear. Our shop has just completed a re-fret, so the guitar is playing its best and lacking for nothing in terms of setup work. A powerhouse D1A, with a beautiful aesthetic!
