Over the years, we've developed a real fondness for the Santa Cruz Eric Skye Model. The modified 00 size, the tone woods, the scale length and Richard Hoover's consummate attention to detail and tone helped to create one of their most successful signature models. This particular rendition is a break from the Adirondack-Cocobolo pairing but still achieves the same dazzling results. A lightly bear-clawed Carpathian spruce top and a figured set of Sapele back and sides make for more eye-catching combo. It also brings out more the Santa Cruz woodiness and clarity.
