This early example of Martin's "Custom Expert" project, a 000-28 1937 variant of the model with Stage 1 Aged finish, has just arrived for consignment. These instruments are, essentially, Authentics -- constructed with an adjustable truss rod and a non-VTS Adirondack Spruce top. They offer exceptional value, exhibiting the sort of warm, broken-in sound that's the envy of many guitars twice their price. This particular guitar is an excellent-sounding example of the model -- though, to be fair, the model is consistently excellent-sounding. If you're in the market for a pre-war style 000, this one's as close to a slam-dunk option as there is!

The original owner has taken excellent care of this guitar; and it requires no work or attention at this time. All the finish checking seen in the photo gallery is original to the instrument; and there's no evidence of any significant playwear or blemishing. Our shop has freshened the setup, and pronounced the guitar ready to go for its next owner. Priced with its original Martin 5-ply hardshell case. Shipping calculated at checkout.
