Description
James Goodall and his son, Luke, are a guitar team to be reckoned with. The combination of James' old world knowledge and his son's natural affinity to modern craftsmanship have brought Goodall Guitars to a new pinnacle of acoustic engineering. OM pickers who are looking for a more powerful instrument, without making the transition to a dread, should take a serious look at Goodall's Concert Jumbo design. Comfortable OM-style curves are paired with a deeper 4 3/4" body depth for a guitar that has some serious dynamic power. This guitar is a visual beauty, for sure, what with the bearclawed top, the sapline running down the back, koa binding, and abalone rosette. But one strum or fingerpicked arpeggio will tell you that these woods weren't just chosen for looks. The German spruce top provides excellent note separation and warmth, while the cocobolo back and sides add rich sustain (but without getting in the least bit washy or indistinct). Yet another fine Goodall we're proud to showcase in our store! Priced with Ameritage hard case.
