Elevated aesthetics with a player-friendly "mono" mod

1972 Gibson ES-345TD in Cherry finish just in on consignment!

We LOVE 345s. The paralellograms, the gold hardware - hard to argue with the elevated aesthetics on a 335-style build, right? But sometimes that Stereo Varitone can be a bit challenging to use in a "grab and go" environment.

Have no fear- this 345 has been professionally modified to mono wiring. Leave that second amp at home!

Beyond the fairly common mod, this is a very clean and almost entirely original example of an early 70s Gibson. The rare embossed cover humbuckers add even more pizzazz to the look as well. The original ABR-1 bridge was slightly collapsed, so into the case pocket it went in favor of a proper replacement.

As we typically find with humbuckers of this era, they're bright and punchy, with a nice treble bloom that sweetens up clean tones but doesn't lack fatness with gain. Get this guitar going with some volume on stage, and you're afforded some nice controlled feedback.

Overall condition is great, with fairly typical signs of wear for a guitar of this age. Very well maintained with no structural defects or repairs.
