Description

Just in from NAMM 2020: Collings AT-00 #82, only the second AT-00 to be built, and the first with mahogany back and sides (and some mahogany it is!). The AT-00 is the newest addition to the storied Collings archtop family -- its double-ought body size and short scale length providing unparalleled playability and warmth in an acoustic archtop guitar. Whether you're a jazz purist, or you simply prefer the more balanced, punchy voice of an archtop, the AT-00 is a grail-level guitar for stage, studio or living room. Priced with custom-made Calton Case.

Official Collings model description: Access to once-in-a-lifetime material requires special consideration: enter our latest Collings archtop, built specially to showcase at the 2020 NAMM Show. Representing the pinnacle of engineering, design, and build quality, this 00-sized instrument features one of the most stunning sets of flamed mahogany we've seen, complemented by a custom full-body and neck sunburst. The dry focus of the flamed mahogany lends itself perfectly to the percussiveness expected from a world-class archtop, while the short scale length breathes an air of sweetness into its small-bodied punch and resonance. Only the second archtop of its size ever built bearing the Collings logo, this AT-00 is sure to draw a crowd.
