12-fret guitars with "Deluxe" level appointments are a new venture for Atkin Guitars -- but based on the sound of this one, we plan on making them a regular part of our inventory. This instrument is, simply put, as exceptional-sounding as a guitar of its stature gets, boasting a wide-open voice with incredible lushness and immediacy of response. It plays like a dream, with a rounded neck profile, short scale, and 1 3/4" nut width; and it sounds sublime whether kept in standard tuning or put in dropped-D.
