Product information

Big trebles, rich harmonic bloom and sustain for days make for a very satisfying classical playing experience.

A beautiful set of Brazilian rosewood adorns this half-century-young Marcelino Lopez classical. The guitar boast lovely, full-bodied treble strings, nice bass, and good clarity in all registers.

The Lopez has a substantial, D-profile neck carve. The action measures on the higher side (5/32" and 4/32" at bass and treble 12th fret, respectively), with a low saddle. If you prefer modern, low action on your classicals, you might look elsewhere, but for vintage warmth and strong overtone, this sound holds great appeal.
