Originally offered exclusively through Arizona guitar shop Soul Cactus, The Victoria Soul Cactus Special represents a limited-spec tweak of one of our favorite Victoria amps - the Victoriette - by way of a pair of EL84s and a pair of Jensen P10R alnico speakers. It also gets a unique makeover, with a Green tolex cabinet wrap and special control plate graphics.
Boasting 20 watts of Class A power, the Soul Cactus Special combines elements of classic Blackpanel Fender tone - and feel - with the sparkle, breakup, and chime found in many EL84-based amps. Whether clean or overdriven, this is a fantastic sounding amp. The Soul Cactus doesn't have quite as much clean headroom as its 6v6 loaded cousin, but there's enough useable headroom to give you a very useable range of clean to breakup tones. Did we mention the breakup? Incredible. Brit-flavored gain with the softer, more forgiving feel of an American amp.
Lush spring reverb and tube tremolo make round out the features of this incredibly versatile amp, and we're huge fans of this 2x10 configuration!
