Since it retains the large acoustic soundboard area of the Standard or Dreadnought, while increasing comfortability and curvy visual appeal, the CJ model has become a favored size for many Goodall Guitar owners.

We're big fans of Goodall Guitars here at TME. You know this. And gorgeous, lush, and awash in overtones as their voices may be, we often wonder, "Is there a tonewood combination that will give us those overtones but suit a strummer better?"

So we dreamt up this CJ in Quilted Mahogany and Italian Spruce. And while it may not be everyone's favorite guitar ever ... it's certainly ours.

What a sound! Sweet and round, with just enough complexity to remind you it's a modern instrument (i.e. not a copy of something that's come before it, tonally speaking). Even amongst an already great fleet of Goodall Guitars, this one is a knockout.
