This banjo is loud, and super-responsive no matter what your style, with the scooped sound that sits nicely behind a voice when it's played softly.

It's been more than a few years since we've had banjos from Maine-based luthier, Matthew Arcara, in stock; and the new instruments we're happy to have demonstrate Matt's evolving skill as a builder.

This instrument, a 12" banjo featuring a Whyte Laydie tone ring and all-Walnut construction, is exceedingly rich-sounding and exhibits a complex, shimmering voice.

A great-sounding banjo for the player in search of something new ~ and yes, it's as handsome as it looks in our photos! Priced with hard case.
