Product information

This 2017 Fairbanks F-35 Roy Smeck has just arrived for consignment! Built by Dale Fairbanks just before his move to Vermont, where he joined the Circle Strings workshop, this guitar is, essentially, a stock Smeck -- substituting Indian Rosewood for Mahogany back & sides. Interested in tone? Look no further. As one might expect from a vintage-inspired 12-fret dreadnought, this is a gargantuan-sounding guitar that produces big, warm notes everywhere on the fingerboard. It'd be an amazing anchor guitar in an old-time band, and also works very well for fingerstyle players seeking massive sound in a short-scale instrument.

The guitar remains in very good pre-owned condition, showing little in the way of handling or play wear. The original owner has installed a K&K Pure Mini pickup and strap button in the conventional location. Our shop has set the guitar up anew and given it a clean bill of health. Priced with its original TKL hardshell case.
