Product information

We acquired this 1971 Martin D-35 from the estate of a longtime customer, who'd had it in his possession for many years (though we're not sure he was the original owner). The guitar had been sitting unplayed for much of the last decade, and was due for its hundred-thousand-mile tune up. We reset the neck, cleaned the frets, and set it up, and it's now ready for its next 50 years. This D-35 has a very rewarding, boomy sound; and it features some striking-looking Indian Rosewood to boot. A great choice for anyone interested in a vintage (yes, we know, this is a 70's guitar, so it may not meet the purist standard for that term) Martin with richness aplenty in its voice.

Condition: overall, we'd call it very good. It displays the expected lacquer checking and signs of use you'd associate with a 53-year-old guitar. The pickguard and bridge have both been replaced; and, as noted, the neck has been reset. Priced with hardshell case.
