This 1958 Martin 00-17 represents a nice opportunity for a player who's interested in acquiring a first vintage guitar. The guitar has been played. A lot. And played hard! And while it's definitely not an instrument for anyone in search of clean condition, its dry, woody sound that simply won't be found elsewhere makes it attractive for studio guitarists and singer-songwriters in search of vocal accompaniment that blends warmly into a mix.

Condition: we'd call it fair-to-good on most people's barometer of vintage guitars. There's heavy playwear across all the instrument's surfaces. One top crack and one back crack have been professionally repaired. Our shop has reset the neck and set it up anew; and it's now playing beautifully after a fret level & polish.
