Product information

This 1928 Martin 0-18K has just come into the shop! Boasting a top, back, and sides of solid Hawaiian Koa, this guitar's sound is buttery warm and focused. And with a couple very minor issues that keep it in player-grade territory, it'd be a fantastic first guitar for someone who's been waiting to break into the pre-war Martin market at an attainable price point. These late 1920's Martins are feather light; and their uber-responsive quality will delight fingerstyle guitarists interested in a more reactive instrument than anything built in the modern era.

Condition: as mentioned, this is a player's guitar with a couple minor issues that do not compromise sound or playability. The neck has been reset at some point in the past; and the top finish has been oversprayed. The bridge is original, but has been sanded down a bit (it's stable, and good looking, so we've elected to leave it as is). The bridge plate is original and healthy. There's one, small hairline top crack & a similar crack in the bass side. Both cracks are superficial and do not go through their respective surfaces. We feel these issues are well outweighed by the guitar's lovely tone, which more than makes up for its collective blemishes. Priced with aftermarket hard case; shipping calculated at checkout.
