Product information

Powerful, articulate classical from a revered name with a multi-generational lineage of fine guitarmaking.

With this, the first Sergio Tezanos we have had the pleasure of hosting, we now realize why his work garners such acclaim. Tezanos has a long history working with Paulino Bernabe, and, in fact, this spruce and rosewood example exhibits a good deal of sonic similarity to those vaunted Bernabe guitars of the early 2000s, if not a few of the design cues as well.

This is a very powerful, inspiring concert classical. There is a lovely heft and boldness to the treble strings, an overall thick, capable tone, with very good clarity, particularly across the vocal midrange. A single-owner guitar, this Tezanos comes to us in excellent overall condition. If you are in the market for a fine classical from a venerated guitar-building family, this instrument is well worth consideration.
